‘Tis the season to be jolly and Bethany Christian School loves to celebrate Christmas! Students began the season by creating over 100 shoeboxes full of gifts to be sent to needy children around the world through Operation Christmas Child. Our Bethany Christian Preschool put on an adorable Nativity Pageant on December 9 to the delight of family and friends. The following week, students enjoyed a favorite tradition with Christmas Books and Cookies with Vice Principal Melody Heal. Later in the week our Bethany Lions Choir brought cheer to the streets of Sierra Madre, singing downtown and also at the Senior Luncheon sponsored by the City of Sierra Madre.
If you visit Bethany you will see festive doors throughout the campus thanks to the Christmas Door Decorating Contest. The Bethany Christian School Christmas program with carols and the Christmas Story followed by a cookie reception is also a favorite event.
